As the original extreme-weather parka developed for Antarctic researchers at McMurdo Station, the Canada Goose Expedition Parka with PBI Heritage combines proven polar performance with environmental stewardship. Annually tested by the National Science Foundation, this technical masterpiece now supports polar bear conservation – a portion of proceeds and a $50 donation per jacket directly fund Polar Bears International’s habitat preservation and research initiatives.

The parka’s advanced protection system includes an adjustable down-filled hood with removable fur ruff and shaping wire, complemented by a fleece-lined chin guard. Strategic functional elements comprise interior backpack straps, an upper-back webbing grab strap with ‘Expedition’ emblem, and an interior waist drawcord working in tandem with a hide-away nylon elasticized snow skirt. Recessed rib-knit cuffs ensure secure heat retention while the storm-proof closure system features a two-way zipper with Velcro®-secured placket and underlying storm flap.

Storage is optimized through six exterior pockets (four double-entry front pockets with dual access plus two utility sleeve pockets) and two interior pockets (zippered security and drop-in style).
